well, to be honest, i loved Afro Samurai, but I also enjoyed Samurai Champloo.
The reason be is that The RZA is an all time favorite person. I would be more direct but god youtube only allows me to put 500 characters. >_>

there’s no comparison.
The only comparison there is is the use of Hip-hop and the Samurai Genre.
With that said, Afro samurai is just a whacked out anime that has robots, guns, and swords put together, all supported by the great music of The RZA.
Samurai Champloo is more different from Afro Samurai. Samurai Champloo is more calm and relaxing, and unlike Afro Samurai, the fight scenes seem to lack the more tricks. And the basis of the story revolves around 3 people. So yeah.

No it was made for Samurai champloo. This song is part of its OST. Shing02, Mimmi, Nujabes, Force of nature, Fat jon, and Tsuchie is everyone who were part of making it. So its no wonder its so good.
